Sass & Bide’s S/S 2012 collection explored opposing forces such as control versus freedom and structure versus fluidity. Influenced by sleek silhouettes, bold graphics and an architectural modernity, the line was innovative, unique and powerful.
The colour palette was rich and vibrant. Pops of blues, yellows and citrus colors shone brightly in the luminous light of the Royal Opera House. Lustrous metallics and sequins illuminated the runway and shimmered throughout the show.
Sarah-Jane Clarke and Heidi Middleton brilliantly juxtaposed athletic influences with luxurious fabrications such as cashmere, suede and leather. The dynamic duo played with various techniques introducing neoprene and vinyl into the mix.
Our favorite looks: The shimmery blue dress aptly named ‘Go Forth & Speak,’ the slinky black number called ‘The Common Thread,’ and the chic ‘Who made Who’ little white dress.
