Local fashionistas took shelter from the rain at Paris’ chic concept store the other night, The Space, nestled in a charming courtyard in Saint-Germain-des-Prés. The Space is a fashion haven devoted to art and style that exhibits both established designers, and up and coming designers and artists from across the globe. The darling boutique marries fashion with art to offer what its owners call “a more avant-garde experience.”
Tallulah Rufus Isaac and Julia Van Hagen are the dynamic duo behind this little hidden gem. To showcase their updated look inside the store, the duo hosted a fabulous re-launch soirée. The two young women have exceptional taste, and offer both European and international trends. Not to mention, that they are exquisitely dressed, super sweet and know how to host a superb fête. It was only suiting that the evening’s theme be ‘The Last Time I saw Paris’, an ode to dame Elizabeth Taylor. The A-list actress was a client of Tallulah’s godmother, renowned couturier Vicky Tiel, who founded 21 Rue Bonaparte in 1961. Everything about The Space screams glamour, the black and white tiled floors, the eclectic photographs that line the walls and the frolicsome fitting room which serves as the perfect playground for any glamourotti.
