Dress to impress—fasten your bow tie. Alexis Mabille aptly named his collection “Let Me Be Bo-Bow,” in honor of the small necktie. Featuring bow tie prints, embroideries, earrings, bracelets, clutches and even detailing on the back of shoes—the bow tie was definitely the honoree on the runway. Inspired by the bourgeois bohemian-chic girl, he created a collection with young professionals in mind that embody that work-hard-play-hard attitude. Presenting a mixture of day-to-night looks such as hoodies under blazers and sassed-up cardigans, it was a youthful blend that will take the Alexis Mabille girl from the office to an evening out on the town.
