Fashionistas turned out in the masses last night for the City of Light’s edition of Fashion Night Out. Paris’ luxury “triangle d’or” — the Avenues Montaigne, Georges V and Rue Francois Premier hosted a chic after hours shopping extravaganza filled with copious amounts of champagne, macaroons and heart-pounding dance music.
The city’s fashion elite, dressed to impress, paraded up and down Avenue Montaigne hitting one luxury label after the other. Elbowing their way through the waiting hoards, pretending their 5-inch Louboutins didn’t hurt their aching feet, they strutted their stuff in the name of fashion.
Designers and French starlets added glitz and glamour to the fashionable event. Jean Paul Gaultier signed autographs for his revering fans while French television personality Mademoiselle Agnes, Dior President Sidney Toledano and French Vogue’s editor-in-chief Emmanuelle Alt mingled at Christian Dior.
We began our night at Louis Vuitton, where provocative French maids dusting the entrance way in style greeted us. Once inside, we waited in line to have our picture taken in a setting reminiscent of the Louis Vuitton’s A/W prêt à porter show. Twin DJ’s spun fashionable beats while we shopped around. I managed to sandwich in between the two hotties for a photo.
From there we hit Emmanuelle Khanh where we modeled their fabulous one of a kind sunglasses and Diane Von Furstenberg. Next we were off to Chanel, Barbara Bui, Valentino and Elie Saab. The line stretched down the street for the Chanel boutique. Women queued up in Both Barbara Bui and Chanel for stylish manicures.
We ended the night at Chloe and Blumarine. Outside the Chloe boutique a dancing flash mob entertained the crowd that anxiously waited to get in. At Blumarine we danced the night away to the electro-house beats of Tribal Concept. You would have thought we were in a famous Parisian nightclub.
Yet again, the champagne-soaked, global shopping party was a huge success for the third year in a row.

blogger in the event you aren’t already. Cheers!
