Today was such a fun, refreshing day filled with shoes galore! The Blonde Cheries were invited to the Kurt Geiger flagship store in London to try on all the heels from the new season– we felt like we were in shoe heaven! It was a quaint store in Mayfair complete with plush red leather armchairs, mirrored walls of crystal studded stilettos and a spinning magazine rack.
The Spring/Summer 2012 collection included everything from pretty pastels in mint, lilac, lemon and pink for the girly side of us, to mile-high stilettos accented with black, metallic, and studs to create an ‘edgy eroticism’ type of aura. It was the perfect fusion between fragility and provocation. The KG*Kurt Geiger line featured a “futuristic vintage feel with glamour at it’s heart”, and many of these shoes certainly make a statement.
We opted for a more fun and casual look for this shoe-haven and we felt like princesses trying on the perfect shoe.

With their new store opening quickly approaching in LA this year, we are certain that this array of fantastical heels and dainty flats will be warmly welcomed by this fashion-forward crowd. And doesn’t Anja Rubik look great in their Spring campaign?
