Tis the season to celebrate the holidays with the magical window displays at the Printemps department store. The fairytale theme, “Noel au Chateau” (Christmas at the Castle) transports you to a whimsical and enchanted wonderland.
Albert Elbaz, the artistic director of the famed fashion house Lanvin, designed elaborate and breathtaking holiday windows for the department store this year. The windows were revealed in early November, with Elbaz in attendance, along with actress Kristin Scott Thomas.

Each window display was exquisite and the level of detail and craftmanship was absolutely astounding! The windows incorporated marionettes elegantly dressed, and featured beautiful art created by Belgian artist Thierry Poncelet. My imagination was kindled by the beauty, creativity and sheer elegance of each fashionable window.
The following talented designers showcased their incredible work in a window of their own:
Lanvin
Alexander McQueen
Balmain
Valentino and Yves Saint Laurent
Robert Cavalli
Manish Arora
Nina Ricci
As I stood marveling at the windows, children perched on the ledge next to me, were mesmerized by the animation, their eyes lit up with wonderment and awe. It was heart-warming to see such joy and excitement in their eyes.
Be sure to stop by Boulevard Hassmann and the enjoy these stunning windows and revel in all their splendor. They are nothing short of magnificent!
