Runway Trend Report: PFW A/W 2011
There were several reoccurring trends that echoed throughout many of the runways. Leather was cropping up in trousers, leggings, jackets and skirts like those at Louis Vuitton, Chloe and Barbara Bui. Sheer, flirty and lacy flocks graced the likes of John Galliano, Elie Saab, Stella McCartney and Junko Shimada. Blue made its debut in all shades for Fall 2011. From the cool icy tones to the deepest royal blue tones it was the color of choice for this season. Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Aganovich and Amaya Arzuaga all embraced various shades of this color. And last but certainly not least, don’t forget the gorgeous fur! From Louis Vuitton, John Galliano, Christian Dior, Elie Saab and Junko Shimada to many other designers fur was literally everywhere!
