Rock-n-roll meets trashy chic at Paris’s new late night lounge Le Titty Twister. If you can make it past the long line of magnificent models and the discerning doorman, you descend into a raunchy Mexican bar inspired by Quentin Tarantino’s famous movie “From Dusk Till Dawn.” A scene out of Pulp Fiction— the post-modernist décor is a brilliant mixture of seduction, decadence and sophistication. Hot pink neon signs set the mood with musings such as, “if the music is too loud, you are too old.” Creative Director, Cyril Peret said, “I wanted an electric atmosphere where it wouldn’t be surprising to see Salma Hayek performing a sensual lap dance.”
Filled with cosmopolites; celebs, fashionistas, producers and hipsters sip on stylish spirits like Basilic Instinct from the Sleaze Tequila Bar while listening to eclectic electro-beats. Jessica Alba, Kayne West, Jamie Foxx and Beth Dito have all made a shotgun appearance at this Tarantino infused hot spot. During Paris Fashion Week this is the fashionista’s hub for all the stylish soirées. Barbara Bui is hosting her after party tonight in this Paris chic meets Lower East Side lounge. It’s “definitely the place to be for chicas, calientes and hot gringos!”
