Bold, bright and beautiful—Color Shock—Elie Saab’s aptly named Spring/Summer 2012 collection ignited the runway. Although the collection opened with a group of frosted pales, it effortlessly segued into rich jewel tones such as emerald green, lapis blue and peach.
Daywear consisted of flowy chiffon dresses, seventies inspired silhouettes and pantsuits. Embellishment was key such as the beautiful pleated crepe georgette and lace layering on skirts. Diaphanous gowns beautifully contrasted graphic lines, inserts and interesting lace cutouts offering a modern twist on daywear.
For evening, Saab’s signature sequins illuminated the runway dazzling like a starry night. A series of blues ensembles shimmered like a sapphire. Enchanting beauty, Karlie Kloss, closed the show in a sparkling blue number that was the sheer essence of femininity. Click here to watch the entire show.

The models look starved. The designers are irresponsible men malicious, if such models require. These designers have no sense of feminine beauty. In addition, normal women, customers, never starved. This fashion is not beautiful
