Maje, one of our favorite chic Parisian labels, first opened its doors a little over ten years ago in trendy Saint Germain and the 17th arrondissement. Designer Judith Milgrom is known for her bohemianesque dresses and classic cover-ups. The clothes are hip and free-spirited catching the attention of starlets such as Marion Cotillard and Vanessa Paradis. Stepping into one of their boutiques is more like entering a stylish maison rather than a chain shop. Soft lighting, living room rugs, aubergine walls and Egyptian lamps create an intimate setting.
Embracing their boho-chic roots, the brand launched a five-piece Brigitte Bardot T-shirt collection in January that flew off the shelves. Maje continues to celebrate the Swinging Sixties with a new capsule collection of T-shirts featuring the beloved style icon and French singer Francoise Hardy. Inspired by her 1962 hit song Le temps de l’amour, the images are reminiscent of that time period. The limited edition T-shirts will be available in stores beginning September 10, with a special collectors’ bag. This is the perfect piece to throw on with a pair of skinnies, creating that effortless chic look.
