Go Team Karl! The opening day of the summer 2012 Olympics are right around the corner, and Karl and his team are popping up to be a part of all the action. Karl debut his Olympic-inspired collection at Selfridges, the iconic London department store, on Tuesday, July 24. Celebrating the energy of the games and the host city, the pop-up-store featured sporty biker jackets, customized t-shirts with images resembling a medal and the Olympic torch and athletic skinnies. His famous collars resembled the three medals awarded at the games in gold, silver and bronze. Lagerfeld hosted a fun-filled soiree the evening of the 24th to kick off the launch of ‘Team Karl,’ the exclusive launch of Karl Man and Woman and the luxury menswear line, Karl Lagerfeld Paris Man. What better way to attend the Olympic games than in a stylish ensemble from Karl.
