Happy first day of Spring! Spring is the glorious

Happy first day of Spring! Spring is the glorious season of rebirth and renewal. The flowers are abloom, it is lighter later and the sun is beginning to kiss us with its rays. The dark months are behind us as we move into the warmth of the light. New beginnings and fresh starts are on the horizon. There's something in the air. The exuberance of the world waking up. I don’t know about you, but after the tribulation and hardship of last year my Spring Fever is in full effect!

On a personal note, I embrace this new beginning filled with gratitude and a thankful heart. Reborn and revitalized, I am able to spread my wings and fly again. My spirit is coming alive at the prospect of new adventures and possibilities. Healthy in mind, body and spirit I am able to dream again, and dream big I will. To all my sweet teal sisters I hope this season of new beginnings brings you joy, healing light and vitality.

My wish for everyone is that the Spring Equinox energizes your spirit, renews your hope, and returns joy to your life. May you harness the warm glow of the sunshine, and fuel yourself with the positive springtime energy. Sending love and light for a beautiful weekend.

NED BABY! All smiles here! Recently I received tho

NED BABY! All smiles here! Recently I received those magical words…clear scans with no evidence of disease. Finally, I am able to breathe a sigh of relief, and bask in all of its glory. God walked with me every step of the way guiding me with his light. A cure that came from within, driven by positivity and a resounding belief that I am healed. Immense gratitude fills my heart for all of the beautiful warriors I connected with along the way. Lasting bonds formed by a VIP membership to a cancer club that none of us ever wanted to be part of. Thank you for opening your hearts and sharing your journeys with me. Each one of you is truly an inspiration.

To all of my guardian angels (family & friends) thank you! Thank you for lifting me up and reminding me that I will fly again. Each one of you fought alongside me bringing your own special joie de vivre to my bedside. I am eternally grateful to you. IG family your messages consistently warmed my heart, and brought a smile to my face when I needed it the most. I feel so blessed to be surrounded by so much love and support. Words cannot express how truly grateful I am.

While I am filled with gratitude, hope and joy there is a quiet anxiety lurking in the background. It is interesting I never really felt any anxiety during my year plus battle with ovarian cancer. It’s difficult to convey the relentless dichotomy I now juggle, perpetually straddling two worlds. One foot in the non-cancer world and one foot in the cancer world. Trying to strike a balance between the two realms. Redefining the new me with a monument of scars both mentally and physically. I am trying to bestow grace upon myself while rewriting the narrative of my life. To all of you survivors caught between two kingdoms be kind and patient with yourself.

I choose to be grateful for the gift of life! If there is anything this journey has taught me it is to live each day to the fullest. Laugh and smile often, joy is the most healing medicine. Practice gratitude it will transform your life.

You can bet your sweet ass once borders open you will see me dancing on tables getting Pouilly-Fuméd on the French Riviera celebrating life!

Happy NYE & NYD Insta family, and Happy Birthday to me on January 1. It’s time to bid adieu to 2020. May this new year bring you renewed hope and divine radiance.

Historical and transformative, 2020 will leave lasting imprints on our hearts. This past year tested the most devout among us. The portrait of a mask forever etched in our minds. The shift from being out in the world to quarantining at home was metamorphic. The year of the first responder —the pandemic left a legacy that reshaped society in profound and lasting ways. We walked in the darkness together, a litmus test to our collective strength.

Remarkable blessings were given to us that transcend the space of despair. Whether it was more time with family, personal growth, a new business or simply that you slowed down long enough to smell the roses we all received an unexpected gift of time. We were given the opportunity to find the extraordinary in the ordinary, to find the joy in the simple pleasures of life. If we take the time to look for it, no matter what the circumstance, there is always positive meaning to be found.

Personally speaking, it was the year of the two C’s for me Cancer & COVID. The double whammy! Battling ovarian cancer while trying to avoid a novel virus was rather perilous, but taught me so many invaluable lessons. The blessings, the breakthroughs and the synchronicities, realigned me while guiding me through cathartic change. Life is the greatest gift of all, and we should celebrate it each and every day. I connected the dots between mind, body and spirit allowing myself to radiate positivity and vitality during this life-changing journey. I faced myself in the mirror and embraced my bald, scarred body honoring that every part of me is mystical and magnificent. I learned to love the new version of me, reminded that even though the surface might look different, I will forever thus be Stacie. My heart is overflowing with gratitude that I am alive to celebrate another birthday.

As I sit cozy by the fireplace flame this Christma

As I sit cozy by the fireplace flame this Christmas Eve, my heart is filled with immense gratitude. Watching the flickering light in hypnotized joy, I am reminded that the greatest gift you can receive is another day of life. Flickering red reflections have me counting my blessings this holidays season. My soul is smiling and my heart is dancing that I am alive to celebrate with loved ones. I thank God for stepping in and making miracles happen this year. Instagram family I am touched beyond words by your compassion, kindness, love and support during my ovarian cancer journey. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will forever treasure your thoughtfulness.

This 2020 holiday season is unlike any other in modern history. If you cannot hold your loved ones close this year hold on to hope instead. Let faith, kindness and love be your guiding light. As the eloquent poet Mary Oliver said, “Keep some room in your heart for the unimaginable.” If we can persevere a little longer, when this is all over we will come out on the other side stronger in mind, body and spirit. We will emerge with a deeper understanding of what is truly important in life. Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed, joyful and healthy holiday.

On this day ten years ago I moved to Paris, and embarked on a beautiful journey in La Ville-Lumière. I spent my childhood daydreaming about living in Paris, and working in the fashion capital of the world. I am incredibly grateful that I turned that dream into a reality for almost a decade. As Gertrude Stein said, “America is my country and Paris is my hometown.”

I can remember it as though it was yesterday. My taxi ride into the city I was enchanted by the balconied buildings, bookstalls along the Seine, charming cobblestone streets and the romantic effervescence percolating from every street corner.

After arriving at my tiny apartment in the 7eme, I stood in my shower for hours gazing out my window captivated by my view of the Eiffel Tower. As I lived above a boulangerie, the aroma of fresh bread awoke me each morning. I walked around the streets wearing an expression of wonderment and sheer delight for years to come.

I encountered some of the most charismatic characters during my audacious odyssey. The book worthy stories are endless. To my Paris girls…you are the most dynamic group of women with that je ne sais quoi factor! Paris blessed us with friendships that will last a lifetime. I am immensely grateful for all of the incredible connections that I made during my time there. To each and every one of you, thank you for touching my heart and soul in a profound manner.

From AUP to rue de la hubbub to George V to the Mojito Bar to Mr. Potato Head to Fashion Week to Plaza Athénée to Coconut Crashing to S&S shenanigans to Dîner en Blanc to the Côte d'Azur – the endless list of magical memories I will always cherish. As Gaston Leroux so aptly said, “In Paris, our lives are one masked ball.” Santé to those sentiments.

I simply come alive in Paris! The city invigorates my creative and romantic spirit. It sparks a feeling of joie de vivre. Paris mon amour you are the most beautiful city in the world. You changed me, molded me and shaped me into the woman that I am today. My heart is forever yours.
