I love my new luggage set (Bellagio Collection) @bricsmilano Thank you Santa! Musing about being up in the air avec une coupe de champagne. There is nothing more liberating than taking flight.

I haven’t been on a plane since November 2019 due to my Couture Cancer and Covid. Praying that this is the year my white blood cell count comes up and my oncologist gives me the green light to travel.

I know so many of you are grounded like me due to the pandemic. May this New Year bring you the priceless galaxy of adventure, joy and travel. I am hopeful that my first stop will be Paris. Where is yours?

Happy NYE & NYD Insta family, and happy Birthday to me on January 1. Fun fact: Apparently, I couldn’t wait to be the life of the party, so I decided to pop out one month early and really get the soirée started. Here’s to a bright New Year filled with health, joy and love. May the New Year bless you with renewed hope, divine radiance and guiding light.

This past year continued to test our collective strength as the relentless pandemic saw masks become a mainstay. Many of us struggled to stay resilient, and revive our spirits after countless calamities and canceled occasions. It was most certainly the year of adaptation and flexibility.

As we embark on 2022 let’s choose to focus on the positive and the exceptional blessings that transcend tragedy. Although the world looks different now, you can still find your magic in the mundane, and your light in the darkness. Turn inward to listen to your inherent wisdom. Ignite your spark and harness your inner glow. Embody gratitude, show kindness and radiate positive light. Access the gift that is in each of you, and share it with the world. May this be the year that you curate the life of your dreams.

To all of my sweet butterfly sisters may your teal wings soar in 2022. I am so thankful that this journey brought us together @young_ovarian_cancer_

Tis the season to sparkle! The real magic of the h

Tis the season to sparkle! The real magic of the holidays lies within the spirit of giving, and the joy of brightening other’s lives. As we navigate yet another pandemic-driven holiday may you hold on to hope, and let love be your guiding light. The greatest gift you can give yourself is that of gratitude, and finding joy in the simple pleasures. Find ways to connect with your community and the Divine. When all else fails a little retail therapy, and the movie Home Alone never hurt anyone.

One year-ago today I strutted my stuff on the chem

One year-ago today I strutted my stuff on the chemo catwalk for one last time. What a difference a year makes! My heart is filled with immense gratitude that I am here to tell my tale, and that I can share my journey to encourage, inspire and support others.

As I reflect back on the past year, I realize that reconnecting with the divine, a joyful heart, a positive spirit, a resilient mindset, a strong support network and the ‘Will to Live’ were consequential forces in my healing process. That’s not to say that every day was a picnic, but rather that these intentions sparked a glow inside of me, and were ultimately my guiding light on this crazy cancer ride.

One of my most profound lessons that I learned was to give myself the gift of grace. Learning to combat the captious critic that seems to be on an endless loop in my head was by far my most difficult task. I am diligently working on quieting that critical voice. Giving yourself grace is much easier said than done. These four practices have helped me the most: Accept and love your body, give yourself permission not to do everything, never feel selfish for taking YOU time and celebrate your mini milestones each day.

For anyone currently in frontline treatment just know that you are capable, resilient, strong and you can do anything that you set your mind to. Make that your mantra. I encourage you to share your story with others you never know whose life you will touch.

Sharing my journey brought meaning to its existence, and provided me the opportunity to create lifelong bonds with what I like to call the jewels of my life @young_ovarian_cancer_ Thank you to my family, friends and IG family for all of your encouragement, love and support. I am grateful and thankful for each and every one of you.

Friends are the family we choose ourselves. True girlfriends are like pink diamonds: bright, cherished, exquisite, rare and valuable.

From Paris to LA to copious amounts of crisps in between we have so many memorable S&S shenanigans. I love you @stephhhieee I am so grateful for you and our friendship.

You stood by my side, held my hand and showed me the light in my darkest moment. Your positive spirit, encouraging words and ability to empathize and make me laugh lifted me up and helped me soar again. You gave me hope when I doubted it the most. You are a beautiful gift, filled with love and light.
